Hiking

The path leads di­rect­ly from the ho­tel, through our own ap­ple orchard, straight in­to a hik­er’s paradise: 160 km in Al­gund alone and the Mer­an land­s­cape doesn’t ne­glect to add its part.

Stroll along the many hik­ing paths or down the Tappein­er­weg (pro­m­e­nade) to Mer­an.

Take the "di­ret­tis­si­ma" from the Ho­tel straight to the ci­ty cen­ter, or try some­thing com­plete­ly dif­fer­ent - tru­ly alpine: the Sprons­er lake route, per­haps? the Partschins wa­ter­fall?
You’ll have the most from your ex­pe­ri­ence if you join in a hike we of­ten ar­range for our guests, tak­ing in scenic views a stranger to the area wouldn’t know about (not even a GPS tour plan­n­er), but that mou­tain-hut own­ers - whom we know per­so­n­al­ly - do. And to be sure, we’ll won’t for­get to take a few ap­ples with us ...
