We are convinced: safety and well-being do not exclude each other. Cleanliness and hygiene are less a challenge for us than a standard.

The Wiesenhof Hotel is accessible only for hotel guests. We have no public restaurants and cafés and do not offer day spa.
When checking in at the hotel, we ask you to present the Green Pass (vaccination certificate, recovery certificate not older than 6 months or a Antigen-Test (not older than 48 hours). This way we can ensure that only tested, vaccinated or recovered guests are staying in the house.
Please inform yourself about the conditions for the way back home.
The Wiesenhof is open only to hotel guests, there is no public restaurant or café service. For the duration of your stay, we will reserve a table for you in our dining room. Nevertheless, you are of course welcome to have breakfast on the terrace in the morning if you wish. Most of the dishes are served at the table. The members of our service staff wear mouth-nose protection and are equipped with the Green Pass.
We are very happy with our new large buffet room. It allows us to continue to offer all the beautiful, lovingly stocked buffets that our guests love so much. So far our guests have all been wonderful. The simple rule: "We all go to the buffet with mouth-nose protection and freshly disinfected hands" has worked wonderfully.
Sitting at the table, you do not need a mouth-nose protection. In all other common areas, it is obligatory to cover your mouth AND nose. Please always keep a sufficient distance to other guests and to the staff!
The indoor pool, sauna area and fitness room are accessible only with Green Pass. In the sauna and pool area you don't need to wear a mouth/nose protection. We make sure that there are always only so many guests in the sauna area that it is easy to keep the distance. Therefore, we ask you to arrange an appointment for the desired sauna time at the reception. In the pools, we ask you to keep to the specified maximum number of people and to keep a sufficient distance from other guests.
Massages and cosmetic treatments can be booked at any time. Our masseuses work with mouth-nose protection and Green Pass. Our wellness area is reserved exclusively for our hotel guests (no day spa).
Lots of fresh air, gardens, forests, mountains - the Merano region offers endless opportunities to spend time outdoors and take a deep breath. If you want to be by yourself, ask the ladies at the reception for secret hiking tips :-)
Or you can borrow one of our city- or mountainbikes or (during the summer season) an e-bike and explore our beautiful countryside on the well-developed network of cycle paths.
The restaurants in South Tyrol are open.
Public transport will operate as usual, but only with 80% of its capacity. With your South Tyrol GuestPass you will continue to travel free of charge by bus and train. Wearing an FFP2 mask is reccomended on public transport and in shops.
Due to Covid19 we chave changed our cancellation policy:
for bookings with arrival within 12.12.2021:
---> Cancellations up to 7 days before the day of arrival: free of charge
---> Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival or early departure: 70% of the total amount.
for bookings with arrival between 26.12.2021 and 06.01.2022:
---> Cancellations up to 14 days before the day of arrival: free of charge
---> Cancellation less than 14 days before arrival or early departure: 70% of the total amount.
---> Should you be unable to travel because the borders are closed, this would be considered "force majeure" = no cancellation fee
For all other periods applies our standard cancellation policy.
